Eric Fong

Eric Fong is a visual artist based in London. His practice explores issues relating to the body, identity and difference, often informed by his past experience as a medical doctor.

Fong’s work has been screened across the UK and abroad, including the London Group Centenary Open, East End Film Festival, Future Shorts Film Festival and Buffalo 07 Black & Asian Film Festival (London), Time is Love International Video Art Exhibition (touring Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna and Guangzhou), Cinecity Film Festival (Brighton), Super Shorts Film Festival (touring UK), Imaginaria International Short Film Festival (Italy), Gstaadfilm Festival (Switzerland), VAD Video and Digital Arts International Festival (Spain), Saison Video (France), Art-Claims-Impulse Gallery (Berlin), Simultan International Video/sound Festival (Romania) and 700IS International Experimental Film & Video Festival (Iceland).

Fong’s films have received awards at the Shape Open (selected by Yinka Shonibare MBE, Turner Prize nominee 2004) and Creekside Open (selected by Victoria Miro. www.victoria-miro.com) in London.
